BI Reporting Analyst

We’re seeking a BI Reporting Analyst to support the development of business intelligence, analytics and reporting across PGG Wrightson - providing trusted insights that help the business make informed, confident decisions. About the role As a BI Reporting Analyst, you'll work closely with business stakeholders and Group Technology to gather requirements, deliver high-quality reporting and analytics, and provide ad-hoc insights that drive business value. You’ll play an important role in ensuring BI and reporting solutions are aligned with PGW's BI strategy and delivery model, while helping business users get the most value from our reporting and analytics tools. Key responsibilities Capture and document business and technical BI requirements Deliver reporting, dashboards and analytics that support business objectives Provide ad-hoc analysis and insights to support decision-making Support business process improvement through data-driven recommendations Promote effective use of BI tools and analytics capability across the business Partner with stakeholders, subject matter experts, and technology teams to deliver practical solutions Support testing, implementation, training, and user adoption of reporting solutions About you You're a curious and commercially minded BI professional who enjoys turning data into meaningful insights and working collaboratively with stakeholders across the business. You’ll bring: A relevant qualification, or equivalent practical experience, in a business intelligence, reporting or analytics role Experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into reporting solutions Strong data analysis, interpretation, and visualisation skills Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement The ability to manage competing priorities and deliver quality outcomes Ideally, you’ll also have: Experience with Microsoft BI tools - Power BI, Excel, SSRS, or SSAS SQL, DAX, or similar data querying and analytics skills Exposure to data sourced from ERP systems such as Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Experience delivering reporting and analytics solutions in a complex business environment An understanding of agriculture, supply chain, inventory, or related industries would be advantageous Why work for us This is a great opportunity to grow your BI career at a genuine turning point in our technology transformation.
