About the Role This entry-level position is an excellent opportunity for a school leaver looking to start a career in administration. We are seeking a highly motivated Administrator who enjoys a varied workload, has excellent customer service and telephone skills, and is keen to join our friendly and supportive Planned Care team. Based within the Patient Service Centre at North Shore Hospital, this key role involves working with a wide range of clinical and non‑clinical staff. The successful candidate will be confident using multiple computer applications, have a strong eye for detail, and be able to effectively prioritise tasks in a busy environment. Key responsibilities include: Managing telephone enquiries from patients through the Patient Service Line and directing them to the appropriate specialty Supporting the loading and processing of referrals Providing day‑to‑day administrative support Assisting with the smooth operation of the Patient Service Centre, including monitoring and ordering supplies and maintaining staff kitchen consumables This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience in a healthcare environment while developing a broad range of administrative and customer service skills.
