Senior Data Engineer

About The Role We're seeking two Senior Data Engineers to join a high-performing delivery team working on modern cloud data platforms. This is a hands‑on contract opportunity where you'll design, build and optimise scalable data solutions using Snowflake and dbt, supporting key business initiatives across a large enterprise environment. Working alongside architects, analysts and engineering teams, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality data pipelines and models while helping drive best practices across data engineering. What You'll Be Doing Design, develop and optimise scalable data pipelines and transformation workflows Build and maintain data models using Snowflake and dbt Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to deliver data solutions Improve data quality, performance and reliability across the platform Support deployment, testing and continuous improvement of data engineering practices What We're Looking For Strong commercial experience as a Senior Data Engineer within enterprise environments Hands‑on experience with Snowflake and dbt Advanced SQL skills and experience building modern ELT/data pipeline solutions Excellent communication skills with the ability to work closely with technical and business stakeholders Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative delivery team What Is On Offer Immediate start available (up to 2‑weeks' notice considered) Hybrid working model with 2‑3 days onsite in Auckland CBD Opportunity to work on enterprise‑scale cloud data projects High-performing, collaborative engineering team Strong potential for contract extension #J-18808-Ljbffr
