Our Personal Banking Product & Pricing team is accountable for the development, execution, and continuous improvement of our pricing propositions across Personal Banking. As our team continues to grow, we're expanding our Pricing function to support increasing demand, greater strategic focus, and new opportunities across the business. We're looking for an experienced Senior Manager - Pricing Strategy to play a key role in shaping pricing strategies across home lending. This is an opportunity to join a high-performing team where your work will directly influence customer outcomes, business performance, and future pricing decisions. As Senior Manager - Pricing Strategy, you'll lead the development and execution of pricing strategies across home lending, helping ASB achieve its growth, customer and commercial objectives. You'll combine market insights, customer understanding, data and commercial acumen to develop evidence-based pricing recommendations and influence strategic decision-making. You’ll work closely with teams across Analytics, Risk & Governance, Finance and Product to ensure pricing decisions are well-informed, commercially sound and aligned to ASB's objectives. Key responsibilities Leading the development and execution of pricing strategies and initiatives. Translating market trends, competitor activity and customer insights into pricing recommendations. Preparing high-quality business cases, papers, and recommendations for senior leaders. Identifying opportunities to improve portfolio performance, customer outcomes, and commercial results. Partnering with a wide range of stakeholders to deliver strategic pricing outcomes. Contributing to the ongoing evolution of pricing frameworks, tools and approaches across Personal Banking. What do I need to be successful? You’ll bring a strong blend of commercial thinking, strategic capability, stakeholder management and analytical decision-making. We’ll be interested in hearing from people who have: Experience in pricing, strategy, commercial management or a related discipline. Strong commercial judgement and the ability to balance growth, customer outcomes and risk considerations. Experience using data and insights to influence strategic decisions. The ability to develop compelling recommendations and communicate them to senior stakeholders. Excellent relationship-building and influencing skills. Experience working in complex environments and partnering across multiple teams. Banking experience is helpful but not essential.
