About the role A Level 1 Recovery Assistant will work as part of a dynamic and collaborative team dedicated to helping people regain independence after an accident. This is a desk-based role with no face‑to‑face client contact, supporting recovery through phone calls, emails and managing allocated tasks. Key responsibilities include: Coordinating services and resources to support individual recovery plans. Communicating with clients, providers and stakeholders to keep recovery on track, including delivering unfavourable decisions at times. Problem‑solving complex situations and clearly explaining decisions and outcomes. Working across multiple systems to manage information accurately and efficiently. Contributing to a collaborative team environment that supports continuity of care and shared knowledge. Start date: 12October2026. Hours: 8am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday. Flexible working may be considered once training is complete. About you You will bring: Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with people from diverse backgrounds. Confidence making decisions and clearly explaining outcomes and reasoning. The ability to work effectively in ambiguity and make sound judgements when situations are not black and white. Emotional intelligence, self‑awareness and resilience when managing challenging conversations. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities. Digital confidence, including working across multiple systems and accurately recording information while engaging with clients. Adaptability and the ability to respond positively to changing business needs. Ability to manage phone‑based client interactions while maintaining accurate and detailed records.
