Data Management Analyst

Data plays a critical role in making that happen, and we're looking for a curious, analytical and collaborative Data Management Analyst to join our growing Data Management Office. This is an exciting opportunity to build your career in data management, data quality and governance while working alongside experienced data professionals across the business. As a Data Management Analyst, you will support the delivery of trusted, well-governed and high-quality data across ASB. Working closely with business stakeholders, technology teams and data specialists, you'll help improve data quality, maintain data management artefacts and contribute to the effective use of data management tools and practices. You'll play an important role in helping ASB better understand, manage and utilise its data by supporting initiatives that improve data accuracy, consistency and governance outcomes. You will: Support the Data Management Office and subject matter experts to analyse, document and deliver data management and data quality solutions. Assist with root cause analysis of data issues and incidents, helping identify solutions that prevent recurrence. Support projects and programmes to understand the impact of data changes and maintain metadata and data lineage information. Contribute to data management, governance and tooling initiatives that strengthen ASB's data capability. Develop and maintain data quality rules, dashboards and reporting outputs. Perform data quality assessments to improve data accuracy, completeness and consistency. Produce analysis and insights that support decision making and governance forums. Educate and support stakeholders in the use of data management tools, processes and best practices. Exposure to SQL and foundational data analysis or data manipulation skills.
