OpenStar Technologies in Wellington, NZ, is seeking a student engineer to join the Magnet Technologies team. You will help design, build, and test high-temperature superconducting magnets used in a levitated dipole reactor, gaining hands-on experience across the magnet lifecycle from concept through manufacturing. You'll work with CAD tools, run multiphysics simulations (ANSYS EM, COMSOL), and assist with fabrication and testing, documenting results and supporting milestone reports. #J-18808-Ljbffr
