Dry Goods Assistant

Overview We currently have a vacancy in our team for a full-time Dry Goods Assistant. Areas of work include grocery, liquor, general merchandise, chilled and frozen foods departments. Schedule The position is full-time, rostered 9 hours per day, 45 hours per week and includes weekends. Roster The roster for this position is: Wednesday to Saturday from 1.30pm to 11pm, and Sunday 2.30pm until midnight. Ideal candidate Physically fit and able to lift reasonably heavy items Reliable A team player with the ability to assist colleagues as well as work independently Attentive to detail and committed to providing an excellent shopping experience for our customers Key responsibilities Stock replenishment, including loading stock trolleys and storing excess stock Assembling and maintaining stock on retail displays Providing a high level of customer service and assisting customers where needed Ensuring retail store and store room are kept clean and tidy and presented to the highest standard A commitment to and compliance with our Health and Safety and Food Safety standards Qualifications and eligibility Applicants must have New Zealand Citizenship, New Zealand Permanent Residency, or a valid New Zealand Work Visa valid for more than 6 months.
