Health Care Assistants Auckland Region Women’s Corrections Facility is seeking casual health care assistants to deliver primary health care and administer medication under the direction of a registered nurse. This role supports individuals with complex health and/or disability needs and is part of a team dedicated to embedding a Kaupapa Māori‑based model of care. Qualifications and Experience – Health Care Assistants At least two years’ experience in health care in New Zealand. Experience working with patients who have complex health and/or disability needs. Level4 Health Care Assistant certified qualification (or equivalent). Ability to work collaboratively and under instruction. Non‑judgemental approach. Eligibility to work in New Zealand. Salary range: $61,302 – $71,766 per annum, commensurate with clinical competency, skills and experience. Enrolled Nurses Responsibilities include providing a comprehensive range of primary health care services, managing medication administration, assessing and managing individuals with a variety of health needs (physical, mental, substance abuse), delivering health education, and responding to emergencies while offering acute care. Qualifications and Experience – Enrolled Nurses At least two years of recent clinical experience in either primary or secondary health care nursing in NewZealand. Diverse range of post‑graduate clinical exposure. Ability to assess and respond effectively to emergency situations. Strong motivation to continue learning and professional advancement. Non‑judgmental approach. Experience in triage, desirable for these roles. Eligibility to work in NewZealand. Salary range for Enrolled Nurse: $71,333 – $86,887 per annum. Registered Nurses Responsibilities include the same comprehensive primary health care services and emergency response as for enrolled nurses, with additional duties appropriate to registered nursing scope. Qualifications and Experience – Registered Nurses At least two years of recent clinical experience in either primary or secondary health care nursing in NewZealand. Diverse range of post‑graduate clinical exposure. Ability to assess and respond effectively to emergency situations. Strong motivation to continue learning and professional advancement. Non‑judgmental approach. Experience in triage, desirable for these roles. Eligibility to work in NewZealand. Salary range for Registered Nurse: $77,289 – $108,874 per annum.
