Overview Vetlife is one of the South Island's largest veterinary practices, with 29 clinics. At Vetlife Culverden we provide a full range of services for companion and production animals, supporting a close‑knit local community. Position Summary We are looking for a passionate Veterinary Nurse to join our Culverden team in a permanent role. Although advertised as full‑time, part‑time hours may be available for the right candidate. This is a varied position where no two days are the same. Responsibilities Assist with anesthesia and surgical procedures. Provide exceptional inpatient nursing and hospital care. Caring for both companion and production animals. Run nurse consultations and support preventative healthcare. Build strong relationships with clients and provide outstanding customer service. Support reception and appointment management when needed. Help maintain a safe, organized and welcoming clinic environment. Qualifications We are looking for someone who loves what they do and is part of a supportive team. Recognised Veterinary Nursing qualification (diploma level or above). Practical hands‑on veterinary nursing experience and confidence delivering high‑quality patient care. Excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for helping animals and their owners.
