Platform Specialist

You'll configure, support and enhance ServiceNow capabilities, working with stakeholders and delivery teams to improve service delivery, automate processes and contribute to the ongoing evolution of the platform. Auckland Council’s Technology Services has an opportunity for a ServiceNow Platform Specialist to join the Platform Engineering team. As a ServiceNow Platform Specialist, you will be responsible for the development, administration, support, enhancement, and continuous improvement of Auckland Council's ServiceNow platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and service owners to design, configure, and optimise ServiceNow solutions that improve service delivery, automate business processes, and enhance user experience. Responsibilities Administer, configure and enhance the ServiceNow platform Develop workflows, business rules, integrations and automation solutions Lead platform upgrades, patches and lifecycle management Support ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, CMDB and other modules Collaborate with service owners, architects and delivery teams Ensure platform security, performance and availability Identify opportunities to automate and simplify business processes Manage integrations with enterprise systems and cloud platforms Qualifications 5+ year hands-on ServiceNow administration and platform development experience Experience with: ITSM CMDB Discovery Service Catalogue Flow Designer Integration Hub Experience in enterprise-scale environments Ideally, you'll also have experience with: ServiceNow CSA / CAD Automation and scripting experience Integration experience with Azure, SAP or MuleSoft JavaScript development experience About Auckland Council Auckland Council is the largest local government council across Oceania, serving over 1.7 million people and contributing towards making Tāmaki Makaurau a world-class city.
