Kitchen Hand Larder Chef

The Hive Purangi Restaurant and Bar is located in Cooks Beach Coromandel. It is a 10 min drive from Hot Water Beach and Hahei home of the famous Cathedral Cove. We have a Larder Chef /Kitchen hand position available starting early September. Our season is September through till end of April 2027. This role ideally could go through till end of Jan or longer. Days of operation to start with are Thursday-Sunday - open more days in school holidays then mid December onwards 7 days. Applicants requirements Must have valid work visa Have a good work ethic and work well as a team Work well under pressure at a fast pace Punctuality and Personal Hygiene Experience in Kitchen environment Have a positive can do attitude and good sense of humour Physically fit as some heavy lifting involved Job Requirements Some skills working with knives A Willingness to learn and help in different aspects of the kitchen brigade Able to follow instruction Must understand and speak a reasonable level of english What we can offer you.. We also have a front of house/Bartender position available could suit a couple or friends travelling together. Ideally. Work in a beautiful part of New Zealand and discover the area on your days off. Accommodation is in Cooks Beach in a shared house with other staff member's. Accommodation is a 10min drive from the Restaurant so your own form of transport will be needed.
