About the Role CrowdStrike is looking for highly motivated, self‑driven Cyber Security Analysts dedicated to making a difference in global security by protecting organizations against advanced attackers. The virtual security operations center offers opportunities to expand your skill set through a wide variety of experiences, detecting and responding to incidents in real‑time for our customers. Work the allocated shifts as part of our global, follow‑the‑sun team: daytime shifts spanning Mon–Fri, Wed–Sat, or Sun–Wed for a 38‑hour work week. Shifts incorporating weekend days are 4‑day work weeks with slightly longer workdays. What You’ll Do Exercise incident handling processes across Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms. Perform basic malware analysis. Develop and improve processes for incident detection and the execution of countermeasures. Produce high‑quality written and verbal communications, recommendations, and findings to customer management. Successful Candidates Will Have Experience In One or More Of the Following Areas Working in a SOC, Malware Analysis or IR environment. Incident Handling – conduct or manage incident response for organizations, investigating targeted threats such as Advanced Persistent Threats, Organized Crime, and Hacktivists. Computer Forensic Analysis – background using forensic analysis tools in incident response investigations. Systems Administration – understanding of system internals for implementing and executing countermeasures and remediation. Network Forensic Analysis – knowledge of network protocols, network analysis tools, and ability to analyse associated network logs. Malware Analysis – perform static and dynamic analysis to understand malware nature. Incident Remediation – strong understanding of targeted attacks and ability to create customized tactical and strategic remediation plans. Network Operations and Architecture/Engineering – strong understanding of secure network architecture and experience performing network operations. Programming/Scripting – experience coding in C, C#, VB, Python, Perl, Ruby on Rails, and .NET. Emerging and Innovative Technologies – understanding of applications and uses of AI or ML in cyber security domain. Prior experience with CrowdStrike Falcon is a plus. Qualifications Strong problem‑solving skills. Ability to handle high‑pressure situations productively and professionally. Capable of completing technical tasks without supervision. Strong time‑management skills with ability to multitask. Experience with Mac OS, Windows, and Unix operating systems. Desire to grow and expand technical and soft skills. Passion for all things Cyber Security. Ability to foster a positive work environment and attitude. Strong verbal and communication skills with ability to explain difficult technical concepts to varied audiences (Japanese written and verbal skills highly encouraged). Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision‑making, streamline workflows, and drive business outcomes. Education Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or related fields; or equivalent work experience.
