Role Title: - Supervisor/Foreperson, Contracting Location: Nelson Contract Type: Full Time The Opportunity Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Supervisor/Foreperson to join our high performing Contracting team in Nelson. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys leading a team and can successfully deliver work within their scope, including coordinating people, plant and materials. As a supervisor, you may lead multiple operational crews and while also carrying out some hands-on work. We are offering a competitive remuneration package for the right person. Key responsibilities Management of a safe working environment for all employees, subcontractors and public on all your sites Co-ordination of resources to safely and efficiently complete planned work Supervise projects in a profitable and efficient manner ensuring eh highest quality standards Provide onsite leadership Effective service delivery and interaction with customers and stakeholders Encourage growth and development of team and crews Any other duties or projects that are reasonably requested What you’ll bring to the table Current class 1 licence Current class 2 & W, T, R, endorsements (would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided for the right person) First aid certificate Leadership experience in a construction environment would be an advantage.
