The role focuses on an existing portfolio of Trades, Organisations, and Builders, while providing opportunities to grow by identifying new business and re‑activating previous customers. You will develop strategies and plans to target growth opportunities, establish new relationships, and repair old ones. You should have strong industry knowledge, confidence in cold‑calling, client visits, and a willingness to read building plans (beneficial but not essential). Key Responsibilities Drive and execute Bunnings’ strategic sales plans across the Wellington region. Identify and pursue new business opportunities while re‑activating previous customers. Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships internally and externally. Collaboratively work with the Bunnings Warehouse in Wellington and the Commercial Services team across New Zealand. Deliver exceptional service that reflects the brand’s promise of price, range, and quality. Develop, implement, and manage a sales budget aligned to company expectations. Address local market opportunities and counter competitor activities. Demonstrate a personal commitment to safety. Qualifications & Experience Knowledgeable and experienced sales professional in the building, trades, or related industry. Proven ability to manage and exceed KPIs and gross‑profit budgeted sales. Experience selling products and/or solutions that cover a 'whole of build' approach. Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills. Independently develop and execute growth strategies. Additional Requirements Reporting to the Area Sales Manager – Trade in the South Island, you must be 15‑year‑old or older and able to travel within the region and work across diverse teams.
