We are seeking a talented Quality Supervisor to help lead our site quality team in ensuring fruit consistently meets Zespri export standards. Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will supervise Quality Controllers, oversee quality systems and documentation, and work closely with operational teams to maximise fruit quality while minimising waste. This is a hands‑on role where you'll spend time both leading your team and working on the packhouse floor to ensure quality standards are achieved. This role is an exciting and challenging opportunity which requires you to be available for permanent night shifts during the peak of the kiwifruit season and will also require weekend work during this time. Our ideal candidate will be a team player with strong verbal and interpersonal skills and proven leadership experience. They will be organised, detail oriented and resilient, with the ability to think on their feet and make sound decisions in a fast‑paced environment. Working well under pressure, you will lead by example, coach and develop your team, and ensure export standards, quality systems and compliance requirements are consistently met. The successful applicant will have: Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Proven people management experience and the ability to lead, coach and develop a team. Previous experience using software and other computer‑based technology, either within Seeka or similar systems. Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail. Experience working within the kiwifruit, horticulture, food production or primary industry. A sound understanding of health and safety and quality management systems. Previous experience with Zespri quality standards or MPI accreditation would be preferred but not essential. What we offer Competitive hourly rate. Great team environment.
