Bidfood Account Manager (Taupo Branch)

Overview As the face of our business in the Ruapehu region, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers while identifying and securing new business opportunities. You will work closely with a diverse range of foodservice customers, ensuring they receive exceptional support and value. Responsibilities Manage and grow an established customer base throughout Tongariro, National Park, Waiouru, and Ohakune, and Taumarunui. Identify and convert new business opportunities. Build strong, long-term relationships with customers. Present products, promotions, and solutions that meet customer needs. Achieve and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer requirements. Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer service. What We’re Looking For Proven experience in the food, foodservice, hospitality, FMCG, or related industry. Strong sales and relationship management skills. A highly motivated self-starter with a results-driven mindset. Energetic, enthusiastic, and confident communicator. Excellent organisational and time management skills. Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a wider team. A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel throughout the region.
