Registered Nurse – General Paediatrics Service, Starship Child Health Permanent, full-time or part-time positions About the role We have permanent, full-time or part-time Registered Nurse positions available in our General Paediatric Services team at Starship Children's Hospital. This role provides expert assessment, education, care navigation and case management of children, young people and whānau under the Service throughout Starship. This role is a key member of the team, liaising with the wider MDT and community services and agencies to coordinate care that spans the continuum from acute care to living in the community. About the Service The Starship General Paediatrics Service provides care and treatment to mokopuna in the Central Auckland area. We provide tertiary General Paediatrics across the region and following Starship Intensive care admission. The work is fast paced and you will see a variety of childhood illnesses from neonate to adolescent. You will gain experience in child development, acute medical care and social determinants of health. We provide an inpatient programme for young people with eating disorders who are medically unstable in collaboration with the Child Liaison Psychiatry team and Eating Disorders Service.
