Do you enjoy helping people reach their health goals? We currently have a permanent 0.5 FTE & 0.6 FTE vacancy for a Rehab Assistant to join our rehabilitation teams based at Middlemore Hospital. You will be working alongside the Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Dietitians and Speech Language Therapists to help our patients meet their rehabilitation goals. The 0.5 FTE role is on our Health of Older People rehabilitation ward. You will be working with adults and older people recovering following orthopaedic surgeries, illness or accidents. The 0.6 FTE role is on our Specialised Adult Rehabilitation ward. You will work in a close team, providing therapy to patients in group and individual settings. To be successful in this role you need experience working with people with disability, excellent communication skills and previous experience in a healthcare setting.
