About the Role With full responsibility for the store's performance you will need analytical skills that allow you to identify when change is needed. As a new Store Manager you can expect to: Lead your team in driving trade activity and profitability Coach your team to be passionate and knowledgeable about the products in your store Lead a high performing team in providing our customers with an excellent shopping experience Attract, select and train talented and passionate employees and develop succession plans Qualifications Previous retail management experience Demonstrated ability to manage a retail operation with commercial success The ability to build, maintain, and influence stakeholder relationships An ability to illustrate a team‑first, customer‑first approach to business Strong knowledge of health, safety, wellbeing legislation and best practice The ability to work four weekend shifts consisting of at least one Saturday and one Sunday per month and at least one evening each week (until at least store closure) Benefits Everyday rewards team card, providing a range of benefits including discounts and bonus points for groceries and discounted online shopping delivery.
