Scope of Work This internship with the Wellington, Auckland or Christchurch Buildings team offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in projects while working alongside a supportive and motivated team. As an undergraduate Mechanical Engineer at Stantec, you will work on a range of building services projects across various sectors, including healthcare, commercial, residential, and mission‑critical infrastructure. You will join a vibrant and diverse team, collaborating on innovative projects and contributing to high‑impact developments across New Zealand. You will learn the project life cycle from concept design to construction and commissioning, and gain hands‑on experience in mechanical systems design from HVAC and energy efficiency to critical infrastructure and sustainability solutions.
