Join the Trimble Field Systems UX team to craft engaging, user-friendly interfaces for professional software used globally across the construction, agriculture, and transportation industries, putting your skills to work on platforms that interact with next‑generation field devices. You will help redefine how technical content is delivered to a global audience. You will get hands‑on experience with everything from UI prototyping in Figma to capturing field footage, all while receiving mentorship from a global team of design and research professionals. Key Exciting Responsibilities Detail Detail and deliver high-fidelity designs for commercial software across desktop, web, mobile, and embedded platforms. Design for AI-assisted prototyping, including branching and testing new features to move quickly from concept to validation. Expand and maintain our established design system, modus.trimble.com, to support emerging technologies. Engage directly with users by assisting with user testing, field visits, and research synthesis. Essential Skills & Experience Currently pursuing a degree in User Experience Design, Human‑Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, or a related field. Have a design portfolio demonstrating end‑to‑end thinking, research, decisions, trade‑offs, and outcomes. Fluency with industry-standard UI design and prototyping tools, with an active interest in AI-assisted prototyping. Strong visual and interaction design fundamentals, with comfort working within an established design system. Confidence working independently while remaining deeply collaborative within small, cross‑functional design pods. Bonus: Experience utilizing AI-assisted prototyping tools in your day-to-day design process.
