About the Company Archway Recruitment are working with an established civil and structural engineering consultancy based in the Northshore, Auckland. They provide engineering design services across residential, commercial, industrial and infrastructure projects, including land development, subdivisions, and large‑scale commercial projects requiring detailed site works and drainage design. Recent projects include residential subdivisions, warehouses, logistics facilities, office buildings, retirement villages, healthcare facilities and education projects with complex site servicing requirements. Responsibilities You'll join a collaborative civil team delivering end-to-end design on land development and building-related infrastructure projects, with a focus on stormwater and drainage. Key responsibilities include: Stormwater design for subdivisions, commercial developments and infrastructure projects. Hydrological and hydraulic modelling of catchments and drainage networks. Design of stormwater systems including pipe networks, detention ponds, treatment devices and overland flow paths. Preparing civil drawings, reports and supporting consent documentation. Client, architect and contractor coordination throughout design and construction phases. Additional technical skills: comfortable using AutoCAD Civil 3D, 12D Model a bonus; experience in stormwater modelling with HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, XP-SWMM, InfoDrainage or similar platforms. Qualifications Experience in civil engineering design with emphasis on stormwater and drainage. Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and modelling software as listed. Ability to coordinate with clients, architects and contractors.
