Job Description

Job Overview Part‑time (0.5 FTE) permanent role at Kidz First Centre for Youth Health, part of Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora. The role involves working as a psychologist within a multidisciplinary team to support gender‑diverse young people aged 12–24 with complex health and youth development concerns. Key Responsibilities Assist with assessment and management of gender‑diverse young people. Work collaboratively with nurses, doctors, social workers and occupational therapists. Provide advice and support to young people and their whānau. Qualifications & Requirements Registered Psychologist with the New Zealand Psychologists Board. A minimum of 12 months experience as a psychologist. Full, clean driver’s licence. Experience working with young people in a health setting and interest/experience in gender‑affirming care.
