Lounge Assistant (Casual) - Auckland Airport x 5 Deliver exceptional hospitality in a premium lounge environment. As a Lounge Assistant at the Air NZ Lounge in Auckland Airport, you’ll be part of a team that creates a relaxing and welcoming environment for travellers. You will provide food and beverage service, maintain lounge cleanliness, and deliver warm, professional customer service that reflects the Air New Zealand brand. This is a casual position where hours are on an as‑and‑when basis upon business needs. Key Responsibilities Deliver transformational customer service that creates surprise and delight moments. Provide proactive food and beverage service, including responsible alcohol service. Prepare and present food items, ensuring dietary requirements are met. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across lounge and kitchen areas. Maintain a positive, team‑focused attitude and flexible availability. Qualifications & Requirements Experience in a similar hospitality or lounge role. Excellent communication skills. Physically fit with a positive attitude. NZQA Food Handling Certificate (Units 167 & 168) preferred; barista experience preferred. Ability to pass pre‑employment checks and, if required, hold NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
