Research Nurse ICCU/HDU 0.3 Perm

Research Intensive Care Services Nelson Hospital. This role requires a minimum of 5 years recent acute nursing experience, or significant ICU/CCU experience. Permanent 0.3FTE, working 24 hours a fortnight between 0700 and 1730 Monday to Friday. For external applicants, an additional 0.4FTE in another role is required, while the organisational requirement is to work a minimum of 0.7FTE. About the Role The role will involve data collection for Intensive Care (ANZICS) as well as coordinating clinical trials within the speciality. The successful candidate will also have the potential to provide care for ICU, Coronary Care and High Dependency patients. About the Team, Service and Location The Nelson ICCU is a close and supportive team that works well together to provide the best outcomes for the patients and whānau that we care for. We have a nine‑bed unit that caters to ICU, Coronary Care and High Dependency patients. Each day brings something new with opportunities to learn and grow. About You We are looking for an experienced nurse who has a passion for critical care and evidence-based practice, and a keen interest in clinical research. You will also have the flexibility to accommodate the needs of patients undergoing clinical trials.
