About the Role The primary purpose of the role is to contribute to maintenance of a safe and healthy work environment carrying out tasks and implementing Occupational health (OH) and wellbeing activities appropriate to the Occupational Health Service and OH processes in your region. The technician role includes managing OH administrative processes, identifying training and effectively using a range of OH tools and process to support the implementation of OH programmes within scope of practice whilst driving compliance for the Occupational Health Service function. Delivery of Vaccination programmes Delivery of Audiometry programmes Delivery of Spirometry programmes Delivery of Respiratory protection programs (including mask fit testing) Delivery of occupational health information by way of education and training About you You are a confident and capable health professional with a technical certificate or are currently working towards one. You are an IMAC-approved peer vaccinator and are passionate about supporting the health and wellbeing of others. You have excellent verbal and written communication skills and are comfortable presenting to groups and delivering occupational health education in a clear and engaging way. You enjoy sharing your knowledge and helping others understand health-related information. A Spirometry and/or Audiometry certificate would be an advantage but is not essential.
