Sales and Marketing Administrator

Bring your creativity and organisational skills to the rural sector and join our Nexan team based in Hamilton as a Sales and Marketing Administrator. This varied role combines graphic design (50%) and administrative support (50%), offering the opportunity to contribute to a range of marketing initiatives while supporting a high-performing Sales and Marketing team. This position would suit a recent graduate or an early-career professional looking to develop their skills within a large and well-respected New Zealand organisation. We are seeking a collaborative, proactive individual who enjoys working in a team environment, contributing to a positive team culture and delivering high-quality results. About the role Provide administrative support in a range of areas to support the sales & marketing team. Including but not limited to, events logistics and travel coordination. Provide both administrative support & graphic design work for marketing campaigns for the Sales & Marketing team. Create artwork on behalf of Nexan for on-line platforms, magazines, newsletters, newspapers, brochures, point of sale material and other print pieces. Coordination of the design, production and distribution of all collateral & build relationships with internal team members & external clients. Follow existing brand guidelines/style guides. What you’ll bring to the team Tertiary qualification in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications or a related field preferred; alternatively equivalent practical experience. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe InDesign and other Adobe Cloud applications. Excellent organisational, communication and time-management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. A collaborative approach and willingness to support a variety of marketing and administrative activities. An interest in New Zealand’s agricultural sector and an understanding of rural communities would be advantageous.
