Cleaner / Car Detailer (Casual)

We are looking for a Cleaner / Car Groomer (Vehicle Service Agent) to join our team at Blenheim Airport (1 Tancred Crescent). The role is entry‑level, casual, and requires physical fitness, attention to detail and a willingness to work hard. Job Details Casual position available – work as and when needed Blenheim Airport based (1 Tancred Crescent) Entry level position Training provided Supportive, friendly and caring environment About The Role The Vehicle Service Agent is responsible for ensuring rental vehicles are clean and ready for customers, including washing, vacuuming, shuttling, detailing, minor repairs, and maintaining the cleanliness of the car lot. Specific Responsibilities Wash, vacuum, wax, detail and shuttle rental vehicles to ensure they are clean and presentable Assess vehicles for any new damages and report per vehicle damage procedure Review returned vehicle gas levels and mileage, and input data into hand‑held devices Refuel gas tanks, check fluid levels and tyre conditions (pressure and tread depth) Complete required paperwork and documentation Maintain cleanliness of the rental car lot and other areas Work as part of a team to ensure vehicles are ready for customers in a timely manner Follow all safety and security protocols What We Are Looking For Full, clean, valid Class 1 driver’s licence (essential) Previous experience in a hands‑on or physical labouring role Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, all weather conditions, delivering high‑standard work Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Team‑player with a friendly, positive, can‑do attitude Ability to follow procedures and adhere to company guidelines and standards As we operate 7 days a week from 7 am to 8:30 pm, you may be asked to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays as needed.
