Job Description
Busy, modern collision repair team with a strong reputation for quality and excellent team culture with supportive management. We’re looking for an experienced Estimator to join this busy panel and paint team. Working closely with the Panel Foreman and Manager, you’ll assess vehicle damage, prepare accurate repair estimates, coordinate insurance approvals, and keep jobs moving efficiently from estimate to completion. We will love to hear from you if you have strong collision repair knowledge, insurance estimating experience, and a focus on quality, customer service, and profitability. What’s Offered Competitive remuneration based on experience A stable, full‑time position with a respected repair business Modern workshop facilities and systems Supportive management and experienced staff Opportunities for ongoing training and professional development A positive team culture focused on quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction Duties Inspect damaged vehicles and prepare accurate repair estimates using iBodyshop Determine repair methods, labour requirements, and parts in conjunction with the Panel Foreman Submit and manage insurance approvals Coordinate workflow with the workshop to maximise productivity Communicate repair progress with customers and insurance companies Monitor estimate accuracy, cost variations, and final invoicing Maintain complete and compliant repair documentation Support workshop KPI achievement, including productivity, efficiency, labour gross profit, and job throughput About You At least 3 years’ experience as an Automotive Estimator or Insurance Repair Coordinator Estimating experience is ideal; a panel beater looking to transition is also considered (training will be provided) Solid understanding of collision repair processes and insurance repair procedures Experience using iBodyshop or similar estimating software Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail The ability to work collaboratively within a busy workshop environment A current full driver’s licence #J-18808-Ljbffr
