IT Operations Analyst

IT Operations Analyst We are seeking an organised IT Operations Analyst to join a tight-knit IT Operations and Security team. You will act as the crucial first point of contact for incoming internal & external IT requests, triaging and routing work to ensure the right tasks reach the right people. In this role, you will manage daily operational demand to ensure high-priority projects move forward. It is an exceptional opportunity for a professional with an IT helpdesk background who is looking to progressively continue their technical skills across the cloud, infrastructure & security domain. Key Responsibilities Monitor, triage, and manage incoming IT requests across shared mailboxes, Slack, and Trello queues. Act as the primary contact for internal stakeholders, providing deskside support and clear communication on request status. Monitor production activity systems, generate reports, and assist with data extraction from legacy systems. Support senior engineers with external firewalls, AWS infrastructure, and subscriber vulnerability reports. Identify repeatable tasks to document and progressively handle at the Level 1 support tier. Skills and Experience Required A solid, proven background in IT Helpdesk or Level 1 Support. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Genuine interest in cloud infrastructure and basic cybersecurity principles. Highly organised and patient approach, with the ability to manage visibility of the team's workload and help coordinate daily priorities. Previous experience or knowledge of the Finance / Fintech sector is preferred. This position is perfectly suited for an individual with junior to intermediate experience who is eager to learn and advance within the field.
