Overview Enterprise Recruitment is working alongside leaders in the building service industry in New Zealand. Our client, a New Zealand‑owned and operated building service maintenance provider, is looking for four Metal Fabricators to join their growing team. Location and Travel Successful candidates must be willing to travel between Wellington, Hawkes Bay, Manawatu‑Whanganui, Waikato, Bay of Plenty and Auckland depending on the client’s needs. Benefits Permanent employment in line with NZ employment law, competitive remuneration package to match your experience ($30–$35 per hour) 30‑hour work week guaranteed (Monday to Friday 8 am–5 pm) Accommodation and relocation costs covered by the client for the first two weeks of assignment Work for a recognised and successful Kiwi company Skills and Experience Minimum 2 years of verifiable work experience in metal fabrication Cutting and machining of aluminium as required Assembly of aluminium windows and doors to specifications Undertake quality assurance checks of manufactured windows and doors and ensure any defects are identified and dealt with as required Key Responsibilities Study blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine job requirements Select, clean and prepare metal stock Cut marked‑out metal sections and shapes using hand tools, flame cutting torches and metal cutting machines Shape and bend metal sections and pipes using hand and machine tools, and by heating and hammering Align parts to be joined using hand tools and measuring instruments Join metal sections using various welding techniques, bolting and riveting Examine welds for width of bead, penetration and precision Finish products by cleaning, polishing, filing and bathing in acidic solutions Clean and smooth welds by filing, chiselling and grinding #J-18808-Ljbffr
