The North Face : Sales Associate (Fixed-Term) - Manawa Bay

About the Role We are seeking an experienced Sales Associate to join our team for a 3‑month fixed‑term position, offering a minimum of 5 hours per week. You will provide advice and insight into all of The North Face products, tailoring recommendations to each customer’s needs. This role is rooted in deep product knowledge, an understanding of outdoor lifestyles, and the ability to empathise with our loyal customers to guide them toward the best tools for their next adventure. Responsibilities Provide expert product advice and guidance to customers in a retail setting. Earn a deep understanding of The North Face’s range of products and how they meet the functional needs of hikers, climbers, skiers, snowboarders, mountain bikers, runners, campers, and travellers. Engage customers in a friendly, inclusive manner to uncover their adventure goals and recommend suitable gear. Maintain a clean, organized, and product‑focused sales floor. Meet or exceed weekly and monthly sales targets as set by management. Qualifications Passion for outdoor activities and a genuine love of customer engagement. Regular participation in activities such as hiking, climbing, skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, running, camping, or travel. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Will or ability to travel as needed for product knowledge and support.
