Enable New Zealand is a Crown-owned entity on a mission; to support disabled people and their whanau to live everyday lives in their communities. We do this by effectively managing access to equipment, modifications and information services for disabled people and their whanau on behalf of Disability Support Services (DSS) - Ministry of Social Development (MSD) and the Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC).

With our head office centrally located in Palmerston North, we deliver services to thousands of New Zealanders each year as Aotearoa's largest disability equipment provider.

As a Software Engineer, you will play a key role in developing,configuringand supporting Enable New Zealand's applications and integration landscape. Working closely with architects, analysts, productownersand operational teams, you will help deliver high-quality technology solutions that support our mission and reduce reliance on external vendors.

This is an exciting opportunity for a technically curious and collaborative professional who enjoys solving complex problems, working across multiple technologies, and contributing throughout the full delivery lifecycle. You will have the chance to work with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform,integrationand modern web technologies while supporting systems that make a real difference for disabled people and their whanau.

Ngamahihaepapa| Role responsibilities

  • Design, develop, configure, and support applications and integrations across Enable New Zealand's technology landscape.
  • Collaborate with architects, product owners, analysts, and operational teams to deliver high-quality technology solutions.
  • Contribute to solution design, technical standards, peer reviews, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
  • Build andmaintainsecure, reliable, and scalable applications and integration services.
  • Support operational stability through incident resolution, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Champion engineering best practices, including code quality, documentation, source control, and testing disciplines.
  • Continue developingexpertiseacross a diverse range of platforms and technologies while helping grow capability within the team.
