Feisst Electrical (FEL) is looking for a hands-on Service Supervisorto lead our Service and Maintenance team in Hamilton. This is a newly created role for someone who's just as comfortable on the tools as they are running a schedule, chasing a quote, or coaching an electrician through a tricky job.
Reporting directly to the General Manager, you'll take full ownership of the day-to-day running of our service operation - supervising the team in the field, generating quotes, managing scheduling and job allocation, and making sure our clients get the quality and reliability FEL is known for.
About the role
- Supervise and support our service and maintenance electricians in their day-to-day work
- Generate and review quotations for clients
- Own scheduling, job allocation, and daily workflow management
- Provide technical guidance and field support, attending site as required
- Drive quality workmanship and reduce call-backs
- Monitor health and safety compliance across the team
- Ensure accurate job records, documentation, and job completion
- Build strong relationships with our customers and suppliers
- Help deliver profitable and efficient service operations
About you
- Relevant trade experience in the electrical industry
- Proven experience supervising or leading a small team in a service or field environment
- Strong technical knowledge, with the ability to coach and support others
- Great communication and customer relationship skills
- A current Site Safe certification
- Computer literate, with confidence using job management software
- Strong planning, organisational, and record-keeping skills
- A proactive, no-fuss approach and a genuine team-first attitude
