Procurement Lead

Our client is a large public sector organisation who are currently seeking a Procurement Lead who is responsible for leading end to end strategic level procurement work. This role is working on a wider business transformation project.

This position plays a key role in shaping the future of procurement for our client. This role has no direct reports.

To be successful in this role you must be able to demonstrate:

• A minimum of two years' work experience as a Procurement Lead/Principal Procurement Advisor
\n
• Strong ICT procurement experience
\n
• Previous experience leading ICT procurement projects
\n
• A strong understanding of the machinery of government and rules of sourcing
\n
• Highly effective communication skills (verbal and written)
\n
• Strong relationship building skills
\n

This is a one year fixed term position.

The successful candidate must have the legal right to live and work in New Zealand.
