Permanent Position with visiting off‑site clinics. An exciting opportunity to join a research‑active, collaborative Radiation Oncology service with regional growth and strong academic links. Work in a large, modern facility delivering comprehensive, multi‑disciplinary cancer care across Te Toka Tumai (Auckland) and Te Tai Tokerau (Northland) in New Zealand. About the Role\nAs a Radiation Oncologist, you will join a dynamic and collaborative team delivering specialist care across Te Toka Tumai (Auckland) and Te Tai Tokerau (Northland). You will manage patients across identified tumour streams specifically Breast, GU, Lung, GI, and Palliative, and contribute to clinical improvement, multidisciplinary care, teaching, and research.

About the Team / Service / Location\nOur Radiation Oncology team includes 23 Radiation Oncologists working in a well‑resourced department offering comprehensive cancer care, including paediatrics, brachytherapy, and SABR. The service has strong academic ties to the University of Auckland and an active registrar training programme with 13 Radiation Oncology trainees.
About You\n- \n
- Fellowship of the RANZCR Faculty of Radiation Oncology or equivalent \n
- Vocational registration or eligibility for registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand \n
- Proven experience in one or more key tumour streams (Breast, GU, Lung, GI, and Palliative) \n
- Skills in VMAT, SABR, and IGRTA \n
- Collaborative, team‑based approach with strong interest in research and service improvement \n
