Carpenter (2 Positions) Location: Auckland Employment Type: Full‑time, Permanent (Minimum 30 hours per week)

CHARLIE’S OUTDOOR LIMITED is a locally owned construction company based in Auckland, delivering reliable residential and light‑commercial building services across the region. Our work includes structural framing, renovations, outdoor building projects, interior and exterior fit‑outs, and general carpentry tasks. We focus on practical, high‑quality workmanship and consistent project delivery for homeowners, small developers, and commercial clients.

As our project workload continues to grow, we are looking for two experienced and dependable Carpenters to join our team and support ongoing construction and renovation projects across Auckland.

Key Responsibilities

  Perform all aspects of carpentry work including framing, formwork, flooring, roofing, and finishing

\n
• \n

  Read and interpret building plans, drawings, and specifications

\n
• \n

  Measure, cut, shape, and assemble timber and other building materials

\n
• \n

  Install doors, windows, cabinetry, and interior/exterior fixtures

\n
• \n

  Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely

\n
• \n

  Ensure all work complies with NZ building codes and health & safety requirements

\n
• \n

  Maintain a clean and safe worksite

\n
• \n

  Work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines

\n

Skills & Experience Required

\n
• \n

  Minimum 2 years’ relevant experiences or

\n
• Level 4 qualification or above
\n
• \n

  Ability to read and interpret construction plans

\n
• \n

  Strong knowledge of building materials, methods, and tools

\n
• \n

  Good understanding of NZ building and safety standards

\n
• \n

  Physically fit and able to perform manual labour

\n
• \n

  Reliable, punctual, and able to work unsupervised

\n
• \n

  Positive attitude and commitment to quality workmanship

\n

Hours of Work Minimum 30 hours per week depending on project needs. Work may be rostered between Monday and Sunday.

Pay Rate $28.00 – $35.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Location Various sites across Auckland.
