Class 4 & 5 Drivers

Get in touch with the Rightmove Team today!We are working with some great Christchurch and Selwyn based companies who need reliable & experienced class 4 and 5 drivers for ongoing civil, Concrete, Hiab and general freight work in and around Christchurch and the South Island.\n
\nHours of work vary but are generally 06:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday.\n
\nPay Rate: $28.00 to $34.00 p/h (dependent on experience) + 8% holiday pay\n
\n \n
\nThese companies have a secure forward workload and a variety of ongoing projects.\n
\n \n
What we need from you: \n
\n

\n
• Class 4 or 5 Licence.
\n
• Road ranger experience
\n
• Concrete truck experience for some roles.
\n
• Confident in reversing and tipping work
\n
• General groundwork required when needed
\n
• Hiab ticket for certain roles is preferred but not essential.
\n
• Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and site workers from other trades
\n
• Always reliable and punctual
\n
• Maintaining accurate driver records
\n
• Experience with Load Security or Unit Standard 28715 handy.
\n
• Ensuring all workplace health and safety and environmental practices are adhered to at all times
\n
• A background in civil construction, drainage or bulk earthworks is preferred but not essential
\n
