We are seeking to employ a Retail Assistant for our business based in Ashburton .

Key Responsibilities:

1. Delivering outstanding customer service to all customers by listening and responding to customer queries in confident and professional manner
\n
2. Greeting customers as they enter and leave the store .
\n
3. Scan and record prices of goods for sale .
\n
4. Take Payments for goods and services using point of sale machine .
\n
5. Issue Sales dockets and give accurate change .
\n
6. Make sure there is enough change ,wrapping and other materials needed at checkout .
\n
7. Count and record money received
\n
8. Operate a computer terminal to administer the stores's financial transaction system.
\n
9. Operate a computer terminal to administer the store's financial transaction system .
\n
10. Prepare store displays and ensaure that products are accurately labelled .
\n
11. Check ID of customers when selling products.
\n
12. Be aware of Ministry of health regulations
\n
13. Perform any other tasks required by the Manager
\n

The Successful applicant will have :

• Ability to work 7 days (rostered ) and on weekends and public holidays
\n
• Retail Experience
\n

we will be paying $24 to $25per hour to the right candidate .

Work will be full time . Mininmum 32 hours guarantee .

High School qualification is mandatory .

Ministry of justice check required .

Pre employment drug test required .
