Experience supporting indigenous, equity, or inclusion focused initiatives is highly desirable. Responsibilities Visit and support student teachers on practicum placements. Evaluate student teachers during their practicum stages. Travel across Auckland to visit students at their practicum schools. Mentor student teachers and senior teachers as required. Contribute to a positive and collegial environment within the university. Qualifications Current teacher registration and a full practising certificate with the Teaching Council of New Zealand. Experience mentoring senior teachers and knowledge of the appropriate sector in Aotearoa New Zealand. Ability to speak Te Reo Māori, Samoan or Tongan is an advantage. Experience supporting indigenous, equity, or inclusion focused initiatives is highly desirable. Applicants who are currently working full‑time in schools are not eligible.
