You can find more about ACC and the work we do at www.acc.co.nz. We have two exciting opportunities for experienced technology leaders to join ACC as Non-Production Environments Managers. In this role, you will provide end-to-end ownership of ACC a0s environment platforms, ensuring they are reliable, secure, scalable and fit for purpose. You will lead environment management across development, testing and operational landscapes, support release delivery, manage platform performance, and provide clear visibility of service health and risk. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, you will help drive continuous improvement and contribute to keeping Kiwis safe at work, at home, and everywhere in between. The appointing salary for this role is $106,351 - $131,077 based on experience. ACC offers a comprehensive benefits package which at present includes an advantageous superannuation scheme (9% contribution) with features like no mandatory employee contribution, optional life and income protection insurance. This position is based in Wellington, but other locations may be considered for the right applicant. Responsibilities Provide end-to-end ownership of ACC a0s environment platforms and lead environment management across development, testing and operational landscapes. Support release delivery, manage platform performance and provide visibility of service health and risk. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and safe operations. Qualifications Proven experience as a Service Owner, Platform Lead, Environment Manager or senior ICT operations leader within a complex technology environment. Experience managing development, test and non-production shared environments, including service performance, lifecycle management and release enablement. Sound understanding of automation-driven continuous improvements. Strong knowledge of service management, platform operations and environment governance practices. Experience managing third-party vendors, service providers and service level agreements. Demonstrated ability to balance strategic thinking with operational accountability and delivery. Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence at senior leadership level. Experience identifying and managing risks, dependencies and constraints across complex technology ecosystems. A continuous improvement mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making capability. Proven performance in the application of Te Tiriti o Waitangi for the design of policies, systems and processes. Sound understanding and demonstrated leadership of the application of Te Tiriti o Waitangi. You must hold New Zealand work rights at the time of application.
