We process specimens referred by more than 4,000 private specialists, surgical hospitals and general practitioners across Auckland. Our Consultant Pathologists collaborate closely with scientists, technicians and administration staff to deliver high‑quality, timely results for patients and clinicians. About the Role We are seeking a Medical Secretary to join our Histology administration team and contribute to the delivery of high‑quality services for APS patients and referrers. The primary purpose of the role is to provide efficient secretarial and transcription support to medical and scientific staff, and to offer administrative and customer‑service assistance to the Anatomic Pathology Service at Mt Wellington. To be successful, you will: Hold Level 1 NCEA in English or an equivalent qualification. Have a good knowledge of medical terminology and proficiency in English. Demonstrate dictaphone and typing skills (60 wpm corrected). Be proficient in all aspects of MS Office. Show the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
