About the role We have an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Administrator to join our dedicated and hard‑working payroll team. Reporting to the Payroll Manager and based in our support office, located in Newmarket, the position is responsible for processing pay salaries and wages, ensuring payments are accurate and on time. Payroll runs are made weekly to the sites on a rostered fortnightly cycle. Key responsibilities will include: Accurately process village salaries and wages on time. Assist in calculating PAYE to ensure accuracy and timely payments. Ensure timely and accurate manual and electronic data entry. Maintain confidentiality and security of payroll records. Prepare statutory returns as needed. Complete ACC and other forms after each pay run. Accurately process all month‑end tasks on time. Assist the Payroll Manager in accurate month‑end reporting. Acknowledge and respond to payroll queries. About you You will have at least two years' experience working in a similar role and ideally have PayGlobal and Kronos experience. You will have excellent customer service and people engagement skills, solid and accurate data entry and high attention to detail.
