Christchurch – Hillmorton Hospital – Full‑time permanent position working 40 hours per week. About the Role We are seeking a highly organised and efficient individual to join our team as a Personal Assistant, providing essential support to the CAF Service Leadership Team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth functioning and operational effectiveness of the Child, Adolescent and Family Mental Health Service, a large, busy multi‑disciplinary service. As part of the Administration and Clerical Pay Equity Settlement this role has been mapped to National Band 5/Profile 5, Step1 to3 (final placement step is dependent on skills, knowledge and experience). Responsibilities Provide confidential administrative support to the CAF Service Leadership Team. Diary management, coordinating meeting logistics, including organising meeting rooms, technology, and catering as required. Collate meeting agendas and circulate minutes to relevant stakeholders; attend meetings and accurately record minutes. Organise all course, conference, and study‑related travel and accommodation approvals and bookings. Administer employee payment system. About You Skills and experience: Essential Proven experience as a PA/Administrator/Secretary at a senior level. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, demonstrating highly developed computer literacy. Excellent keyboard skills and the ability to handle data entry tasks efficiently. Possession of technical knowledge and skills relevant to the position, with a commitment to continuous learning and development. Strong written and verbal communication skills at a professional level. Willingness to undergo ongoing training and upskilling as necessary. Attention to detail, with high standards and a conscientious approach to tasks. Ability to multitask effectively, be flexible and prioritise responsibilities. A good team player with a can‑do approach. Familiarity with the Principles and Articles of the Treaty of Waitangi, demonstrating cultural sensitivity.
