Outpatient Scheduler Permanent, full time role Monday to Friday, 8am to 4.30pm PLEASE NOTE, THIS ROLE IS ONLY OPEN TO CURRENT EMPLOYEES OF HEALTH NEW ZEALAND. About the Role The Radiology Department at Waitākere Hospital is seeking an Outpatient Scheduler to join their small, friendly Clerical Team. This is a busy, fast paced role, working closely with Radiologists and Nursing staff, managing our outpatient waitlist to ensure that our patients receive the best possible outcome. You will need excellent problem solving skills and be able to relate well with clinicians from the Waitematā community, and most importantly - our patients. It has the largest population of any district health area. About you To be successful in this role, you must have the following: Strong administrative and computer skills Previous experience in booking/scheduling is preferred Be able to work under pressure, and multi-task with a smile Experience with Patient Management Systems and Radiology Information Systems Be flexible with a positive attitude and excellent customer service skills If this sounds like you, we look forward to hearing from you!
