Loss Prevention / Security Team Member

Mitre 10 MEGA Hastings is looking for a vigilant and professional team member to help reduce shrinkage and maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming store environment. Reporting to the Security Team Leader, you will promote loss prevention across Retail, Garden, and Trade areas. Responsibilities Help create a safe environment for customers and team members Support staff to detect and deter theft and fraud Liaise with local police and neighboring retailers Apprehend shoplifters using approved techniques, always prioritising safety We’re looking for someone who is calm under pressure, alert, honest, and professional, with a strong focus on customer service. Previous experience is an advantage but not essential.
