About the Role Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty is seeking scheduling support for the Women, Child & Family service. This permanent part‑time position is based at Tauranga Hospital, requiring 24 hours of work per week, Monday to Friday. Key responsibilities include managing and coordinating patient appointments, maintaining accurate waitlists, and acting as a liaison between patients, senior medical staff, and the hospital to deliver excellent scheduling and administration services for people receiving Obstetric & Midwifery Care. The role requires flexibility to support the planned care scheduling team as needed and demands strong attention to detail, initiative, and effective organizational and communication skills. About the Team/Service/Location The Women, Child & Family service covers midwifery, obstetrics & gynaecology, paediatrics, maternity and newborn hearing. The team works Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 5:30pm, in a shared office space at Tauranga Hospital. Staff collaborate closely with midwives, senior medical officers, resident medical officers, and other administrative staff. About You Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal. Strong computer and technology skills. Excellent time‑management skills and high attention to detail. Knowledge of patient information systems and medical terminology. Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori, or a commitment to starting a learning journey in these areas.
