Warehouse Operator

About The Role Mataura Valley Milk is seeking a motivated and safety-focused Warehouse Operator to join our Operations team in Gore. This role is responsible for the safe operation of forklifts, loading and unloading trucks, inventory handling, product storage, stock control, and ensuring warehouse activities are completed efficiently and accurately. Key Responsibilities Marshall inbound and outbound goods. Stage ingredients for production. Replenish ingredients into the IBC room and dispensary. Label and check incoming ingredients and materials. Load, unload, stack, and store products safely. Complete stock cycle counts and stock takes. Maintain warehouse cleanliness and housekeeping standards. Support inventory accuracy and ERP transactions. Ensure all work is completed in accordance with Health & Safety, Quality, and Food Safety requirements. Essential – What We're Looking For Current OSH Forklift Certificate and F Endorsement. Previous experience in a warehouse, stores, import, or export environment. Experience operating forklifts and multiple attachments. Good computer literacy and technology skills. Strong attention to detail and data accuracy. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. Desirable Experience working with food products. Food Safety knowledge or experience.
