Join the Group Support team in Hāwera as our Administrator – General & Training. This role plays an important part in supporting the Group's health and safety, training and administration functions. It is well suited to someone looking to start or grow their career within a supportive and growing group of businesses. Group Support provides the operational and administrative backbone for Excel Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, EcoChill and ICE Electrical, delivering the systems, processes and business support that enable these businesses to succeed and grow. The Role The Administrator – General & Training is a varied administration role that supports the Group's health and safety, training and broader business operations. Working closely with managers and employees across the business, this role helps ensure day‑to‑day administrative processes are delivered efficiently, accurately and professionally. Core Responsibilities Coordinate and administer health and safety training across the Group Support onboarding by coordinating training, inductions and health and safety documentation Maintain training records, skills matrices and internal registers Book, track and manage internal and external training Assist with the administration of the document management system (DMS) Provide reception, phone and customer enquiry support Complete data entry and maintain accurate records within simPRO and other business systems Assist with general office administration Provide administrative support across the wider Group Support team as required Candidate Profile The ideal candidate will be organised, proactive and enjoy working in a role where no two days are the same. They will take pride in producing accurate work, communicate confidently and enjoy supporting team members across the business. Skills & Experience Some previous administration experience Excellent organisation and attention to detail Strong written and verbal communication skills Confident learning and using business systems Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines A positive, team‑focused attitude with a willingness to help Health, safety or training administration experience would be helpful Experience with simPRO or similar business software would be advantageous Experience within a trade, construction or service‑based business would also be beneficial What We Offer Joining Group Support means becoming part of a workplace where people are supported, recognised and given opportunities to develop their skills and build their careers.
